**Traditional boxer lady on the thigh — I see her, I see ALL of her, and she's seen better days.** Sweet Christ, where do I start with this Prohibition-era knock-*down*? Your boxer girl is wearing those gloves like she's trying to hold two overinflated basketballs in her armpits — there's ZERO taper on those arms, they just terminate into spherical blobs with no wrist definition, no form, no anatomy. The blue jersey is a flat wash of nothing; traditional doesn't mean "color it in like a first-grader's coloring book" — you need shadow breaks and value contrast to give that torso dimension, and right now she looks like she's wearing a paper bag. The laurel branches flanking her are the single most uncertain greenery I've seen on a traditional piece — the leaves are different sizes, inconsistently spaced, and half of them look like they're auditioning to be a completely different plant. That red halo behind her head isn't bold and punchy, it's just smeared aggression. And the banner? "KNOCK OUT" split with a dot like a goddamn legal document. Kerning on the lettering drifts wider left to right like somebody sneezed mid-stroke. The outline weights jump all over this composition with zero discipline — thick here, timid there, like two different artists had a coin-flip fight.
The Devil's Wink
That face, though — the vintage doll eyes and the rosy cheeks actually land with real charm and the hair detailing shows you've got a controlled hand when you use it. Drag that confidence into your line weight everywhere else and you've got something worth posting without bracing for impact.
